The Story

BAD BOY began as a question:

When do we give up on a dream — and should we?
A show about the pursuit of happiness, love, instant gratification, and the deeper search for purpose.

The spark came when I saw Fleabag by Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
We wanted to create our own love letter to that universe, but through a male character, an artist, a musician.
A story told with wit, humour, darkness, and live original music.

We pitched the idea to the Swedish Playwrights Fund. They believed in us.
We created the show.
It premiered at Teater Trixter in 2025.
And from the very beginning, the goal was clear: take BAD BOY to the Edinburgh Fringe.

Because of that, the show is written and performed in English. It’s built to live on an international stage.
But once we decided to take it to Edinburgh, we discovered just how much support is required to actually get there.

That’s why we’re asking for support — to help us complete the journey.
